This artwork is meant to represent Michael’s anguishes/demons. I usually explore his angel side, this time I wanted to explore the darker side of him. Because no matter what, I love him, deeply, in his moments of fear, anguish, angriness too. He was a complex man and I love this complexity.

The golden ring represents his love for us and vice-versa.

I couldn’t cry myself last night, too much pain, so I’ve created this.. I have hesitated for a long time to call this artwork “What have I done to the World?” because yes, really : what Mister Michael Joseph Jackson, has done to this world to be treated like that, like an animal or even worse, an OBJECT, by this heartless World. WHAT? …

The Captain of our Hearts -

This artwork has been inspired by Michael’s passion for this kind of jackets and paintings. We all know he loved that style very much so I wanted to offer him this one, with the message of his life : “Heal the World”. The original painting has been created by George Dawe, an English portrait artist. All the credit goes to him for the body. Then I’ve changed it. I love to think that he sees it, I’ve made for him, this is not tribute like the others, for me, this is a commision from “above”.. <3 I love you Michael.
